Why the customer came to us

The client was quickly running out of work pipeline, and there were no enquiries coming in. This business was a long-standing company too, and this happened slowly over time, and it is the quietest they had ever seen it. The challenge here was less cash flow at a time when they needed to invest quickly. I sat in their office discussing their golas and current situation and the phone didn't ring once.

What we did to help

First things first, we did the research into where they were losing out to the leads online. This resulted in a full rebuild of the existing website and a structure that clearly differentiated them out between residential, commercial, and industrial. We rewrote the whole website to be more focused on conversions and being found for the right terms. We relaunched the business online and handled the migration from the old setup. With some foundation SEO out the gate to help the indexing for more commercial intent search terms.

The result

Ranking improvement and new search terms within the first 30 days. Some of the more niche terms and commercial roofing pages shoot to the number 1 spot. Map rankings also increase and more top 3 ranks for Henley on thames. Fast forward to 90 days, and leads are now coming in more consistently through maps, forms, and calls. hitting 30 leads in 30 days. Growth from there levelled off, and then once more stable, the client wanted to see growth and invested in more SEO. 1 month in and already responding well to off-page SEO work. The lesson here is get the right strategy, website, and SEO work way before you need it. The phone would never had stopped ringing and the amount need to invest would have been less with larger returns faster. The more costly marketing is the marketing your not doing.
